Why is children's skin more sensitive to the sun?
Children's skin is more delicate and more sensitive to external influences than adult skin. The skin barrier is not yet fully developed, which can make the skin more prone to dryness, discomfort and unpleasant reactions caused by sun exposure or external factors. TotalComfort Lotion was formulated with an emphasis on very high SPF 50 protection, high tolerability and everyday comfort for sensitive children's skin.

Why was a hybrid UV system chosen for SPF 50?
When developing SPF 50, the focus was on achieving very high UV protection while maintaining a comfortable texture suitable for children's skin. The hybrid UV system combines modern photostable organic filters and non-nano mineral zinc oxide, making it possible to create protection without white cast and without a heavy, greasy feel on the skin. The UV filters used were selected for their high photostability, broad-spectrum protection and high tolerability, even for sensitive skin. The formula also contains no controversial older-generation UV filters. The focus was primarily on safety, functionality and gentleness to the skin, so the resulting protection meets high standards for everyday use.

How does TotalComfort Lotion differ from classic children's SPF products?
The formula was designed for sensitive children's skin that needs high UV protection without heaviness, white cast or unnecessarily irritating ingredients.

TotalComfort Lotion combines:

The combination of oat extract, beta-glucan, marine exopolysaccharides and Saccharide Isomerate was specifically chosen because these are active ingredients used in modern dermocosmetics to support hydration, comfort and protection for sensitive skin prone to dryness and irritation.

Which UV filters does the product contain?
The product contains a combination of four photostable, new-generation UV filters:
• Tinosorb S (Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine) – broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection
• Uvinul A Plus (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate) – protection against UVA1 radiation
• Uvinul T150 (Ethylhexyl Triazone) – high UVB protection
• Non-nano Zinc Oxide (Zinc Oxide – non nano) – mineral UV filter suitable even for sensitive and reactive skin
The product contains no oxybenzone, octinoxate or other controversial older-generation UV filters.
The filters are photostable and were chosen with an emphasis on very high protection and comfort for everyday use.

Is the lotion also suitable for very sensitive or atopic skin?
The product's formula was designed with an emphasis on high tolerability and minimizing the risk of irritation. It contains hydrating and soothing ingredients commonly used in dermocosmetics for sensitive, dry and reactive skin. The product contains no synthetic fragrances, parabens, silicones or mineral oils.

What is Saccharide Isomerate?
Saccharide Isomerate is a carbohydrate-based hydrating ingredient used in modern hydrating cosmetics. It helps support a long-lasting hydrating effect and comfort for dry skin. It is often used in products designed for dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin. This refers to the effect of the ingredient itself, not the final product.

How to apply SPF lotion correctly?
• Apply a sufficient amount to all exposed areas of the body and face
• Apply approximately 15–30 minutes before sun exposure
• Don't forget the ears, neck, backs of the hands and tops of the feet
• When spending time outdoors, reapply approximately every 2 hours and after swimming or towel-drying
• Avoid intense sun between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Important recommendations for children in the sun
Do not expose infants and young children to direct sunlight. Excessive sun exposure poses a serious health risk. Even products with very high SPF protection do not provide 100% protection against UV radiation.
When spending time in the sun, it is recommended to wear protective clothing, a hat and sunglasses. Avoid intense midday sun, especially between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Don't forget to apply sunscreen to frequently overlooked areas such as the ears, hairline, neck and tops of the feet. Ears are among the areas at high risk of UV damage, as they are often skipped when applying SPF, and the skin in this area is sensitive to long-term sun exposure.
Applying an insufficient amount of product significantly reduces the level of protection.

WARNINGS
For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place and do not expose to direct sunlight or freezing temperatures. Do not use on open wounds. Avoid the eye area.
If the product gets into eyes, rinse with lukewarm water for at least 15 minutes continuously, working from the inner to the outer corner of the eye. If wearing contact lenses, remove them before rinsing. If irritation occurs, seek medical attention.
Before first use, a patch test is recommended - apply a small amount of the product to a small area of skin, ideally the wrist, and wait 24 hours. This method can help prevent allergic reactions or sensitivity to any of the product's ingredients.
If an allergic reaction occurs after application, rinse the skin with lukewarm water and discontinue use. If the reaction persists, seek medical attention.
